I am really excited because today I am introducing you to one of my mentors, James Wedmore. I have been working with James for nearly 3 years now, and he has been extremely instrumental in helping me grow my online business! In this episode, James is sharing the difference between an entrepreneur and a business owner. Did you even know there was a difference? Not only that, James share so many helpful tips on best practices for starting an online business, such as how to build a product suite, etc.

"You're always looking for a new way, new possibility and a new problem that you can solve..." At minute 0:40, James explains the difference between an entrepreneur and a business owner that he sees in the people he works with.

"When something is working, just do it again..." At 8:56, James shares two case studies of local businesses that have done amazing things! Plus, insights into how to fast track taking a local business online and stepping into an entrepreneurial role, not just a business owner.

"It's never been easier than right now..." At minute 18:28, we're talking about the low barrier of entry for other entrepreneurs to come into the online space right now, the importance of sharing your expertise, the ability to brag and show what you have to offer.

"Value what it is that you deliver and own that expertise..." At 26:05, James is sharing what he recommends for someone who is just starting out and wants to jump into the online space. Is it creating courses? Memberships? Low price vs. high price? James shares the model he teaches his clients!

To connect more with James, check out the Mind Your Business Podcast and be on the lookout for his 8 part video series coming July 29th, 2019, The Rise of the Digital CEO, where he breaks down the 5 required ingredients if you want to create or grow a business.  Head over to businessbydesign.net, for all the info!
