Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book “Is Your Business Worth Saving?” where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success.

In today’s episode, I’m going to be talking all about how to charge what you’re worth. Of course, it’s really easy for me to tell you to just raise your prices, and yes, I still get nervous when I raise mine. But it’s absolutely a necessity in your business to charge what you’re worth.

Some highlights include:

Pricing yourself too low can cost you your business. If you’re on the low end, people will question if the quality is really there. (minute 0:00)

Higher prices equal less work. When you charge higher prices, you don’t as need as many customers to bring in the same income, and that’s a great benefit for your customers. (minute 2:00)

Your pricing says something about you. You need to be very careful when you’re choosing your pricing because you could be turning away the big clients that are willing to pay a lot more for your services. (minute 3:00)

Just go try it. You are worth every penny, and you’ll never know if your prices are high enough unless you just raise them. (minute 4:00)

In today’s episode, I’m going to be addressing another question I got from a listener. I’ve talked before about how I keep a yearly calendar, and this reader wanted to know more about that. They said they are good at planning out a calendar for their week and sometimes their month, but it’s hard for them to think about doing a quarterly calendar, much less a yearly one.

Some highlights include:

Step #1: Start with a brain dump. You need to get it all down on paper. At minute 1:00, I talk about everything you need to write down to get your yearly calendar started.

Step #2: Color code it into separate categories. You need to have three different highlighters, and at minute 2:00, I tell you how to use them the way I do to break your events up into three distinct categories.

Step #3: Go to Google and print out a free calendar. At minute 3:00, I talk about how to use this calendar with the categories from step #2.

Step #4: It’s now time to reevaluate your calendar. Is there a time where you aren’t very busy? Maybe this is time for a launch. (minute 6:00)

In today’s episode, we’re going to be talking about pre-selling a product that doesn’t exist. This is becoming more and more popular, and for good reason.

Some highlights include:

Create an idea with a framework so you can explain it. Then get on a live broadcast like Periscope or Facebook Live (or both!) and start talking about your product. The feedback you receive from your audience will help you know what people want in the product, something that will make selling it much, much easier for you. (minute 1:00)

As you’re building your freemium, start to think about what mini-course you’ll create to go along with it. It’s so important to do this while creating the freemium because you may realize that too much of the meat is going into the freemium. You’ve got to be able to sell the mini-course. (minute 2:00)

After you’ve created the freemium and mini-course, give away the freemium and go back on a live broadcast to tell your audience about the mini-course. You’ve already delivered them value, and it’s time to tell them about the gap between the free and paid versions. (minute 3:00)

Next, beta test your product, but don’t give it away for free. If you do, people will just ignore it, and you won’t get good feedback. What you need to do is give it away for a discount. This will keep them invested. (minute 4:00)

How many people do you want to be beta testers? Enough for you to get great testimonials on your product. These are what you’re going to use to actually sell your program. (minute 6:00)

In this episode, I’m going to be talking to you about the struggles that we all face as working moms, especially the challenges that those of us that work from home face when we’re trying to get work done and something pops up. What can you do to still have a productive day when faced with surprises that come with being a mom?

Some highlights include:

I’ve had break up my day to run things to my kids’ daycare, so I’ve decided that I need a daycare checklist. If you have kids at daycare, a checklist is helpful to make sure the daycare provider has everything that they need so that you don’t have to constantly take time out of your day to head back over there. (minute 2:00)

If you are making mistakes as a mom that are routinely costing you time, it’s probably a good idea to start making notes of what you can be doing better to prevent these mistakes. It’s always good to put new processes in place. (minute 3:00)

Don’t over schedule yourself. Have a little flexible time so that you have to run away from home if you need to without having it completely derail your day. (minute 3:00)

Today’s episode is a special one. Recently I got an email from someone saying that I changed her life. She was talking about today’s episode from when it aired live on Facebook Live.

Today’s episode is all about my new favorite app called gTasks Pro.

You’ve probably heard me rant and rave about Google Calendar in the past. The main reason I love Google Calendar is because it keeps me so organized, especially with the ability to sync calendars. It’s especially helpful to be able to see my husband’s so we don’t have any confusion between us when it comes to making plans. (minute 1:00)

So, why do you need gTasks Pro? For some reason, the tasks inside Google Calendar don’t sync to your app, and that’s where gTasks Pro comes in. (minute 2:00)

I used to always email myself every time I wanted to add something to my to-do list, but now I can use gTasks Pro to cut out the email step. (minute 4:00)

Use labels on your alarms. A lot of people don’t realize that you can edit these, so you should really use this to your advantage. Maybe today at 1:30 you need to go to the post office. Change the default “Alarm” to “Go to the Post Office” (minute 1:00)

It’s a bad habit to be constantly checking your phone or even a clock. Set alarms so that you do things when they need to be done and stop checking your phone. (minute 2:00)

Set alarms to remind you to do the things you often forget to do. If I don’t set an alarm to eat lunch, I’ll probably forget to do it when I’m in the zone. (minute 4:00)

I want you to set one recurring alarm for something you do every day. This is a great way to start getting into this habit. (minute 6:00)
